The Topanga Creek Watershed Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the planning and execution of a fabulous new native plant garden at the Community House.
The goal of the project is to provide an opportunity to provide an ongoing experiential learning opportunity for visitors to the Community House in areas such as native v. exotic plants, erosion control, butterfly gardens, edible plants, etc., while at the same time beautifying the property.
We are limited only by our ideas and manpower, so please come be a part of what promises to be a really fun and gratifying project, which will involve not just the TCC and the TCWC, but a wide variety of community groups. We are open to new ideas, people with pick-up trucks, experts and amateurs, nature lovers of all stripes.
Our planning day is February 23, from 10 am until approximately 1 pm. Rendezvous at the Community house above the playground. With another day for gathering materials and a third for planting we hope to have the whole thing in place by the beginning of April.
Please come! If you have questions please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
