Some thoughts include all those hotels in Woodland Hills/Tarzana...most under $100 a night. Obviously the nicer hotels in Santa Monica will run you $300 - $500 a night, but a few of the motels there run far less.
I am putting up some folks at the Best Western on Venice Beach Memorial Day weekend - $209 a night.
Then there are the hostels...Hosteling Internationals are always clean & family friendly - I had a friend staying there last year (2nd street Santa Monica for about $40 a night. About the same at the Venice hostel as well.
: I'm looking for some good ideas.......I have some out of town guests arriving for 3 weeks in Sept, a couple.
: Unfortunately I don't have the space to accomodate them comfortably. Anyone got any ideas on places to stay in the Topanga. I seem to remember not too long ago reading on this board about a b&b at a ranch here in the Canyon, anyone know of that? Otherwise, I'll probably be looking for a sublet/guesthouse. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!
