Healthcare demonstration in Los Angeles on Friday
This Friday June 26 at 5PM at the corner of Topanga Canyon Blvd. and Califa, in Warner Center Park. Near the HQ for the Blues of California, Heath Net and others.
We plan to do this on the last Friday of every month until a suitable healthcare plan is passed. We consider this 1st one a "dry run."
We call it the Single Payer Happy Hour. We think Single Payer is the ultimate logical conclusion of any Public Option and the only plan that pays for itself by eliminating the administrative overhead of the current useless system that amounts to $500 billion out of the $1.5 trillion we spend on healthcare through insurance companies.
Come and join us for this 1st and historical demonstration.
We call it Happy Hour a) because it is and b) because we want it to be a positive demonstration rather than an angry one.
For those of you who cannot drive there, the Orange Line 4 blocks away at the Warner Center.
We cleared with LAPD and Parks and Recreation already. We cannot march or use a megaphone other than that, free speech.
So be there or be square!
